Jan Koum believes that people should be safe while negotiating so that the messages are safe from cyber criminals and hackers. Even Apple uses encryption for its iMessage service but according to some experts, whatsapp will provide more security. The sender and the receiver can use a security code to verify messages.

There was an announcement on 4th April 2016 by Facebook. It says that now, Facebook is accessible to the blind users too. The users, who are blind or visually impaired, can see the pictures and photos posted on Facebook by hearing the audio description of it. There are approximately 39 million blind people and over 246 million people who are suffering from severe visual impairment. Today, all of them are warmly welcomed by facebook to use the app to its fullest. Facebook describes the posted photos verbally by users which help blind people to visualize the picture. This function expresses the exact picture like the names of the people in it, smiling, outdoor, etc. Automatic alternative text read aloud through screen on iOS devices.
